How to join FuriGTPS

Step-by-step instructions for Android, PC, and iOS. Pick your platform below and get in-game in minutes.

Android

Growtopia APK + DNS override via 1.1.1.1 or similar

Install Growtopia

Download and install Growtopia from the Google Play Store if you haven't already. Any recent version works.

Open Wi-Fi settings and set a custom DNS

Go to Settings → Wi-Fi → (long press your network) → Modify → Advanced → IP settings: Static.

Set DNS 1 to 206.189.83.142 and leave DNS 2 blank, then save.

Alternative: use a DNS app

Install 1.1.1.1 by Cloudflare or NetGuard. Add a custom DNS rule pointing www.growtopia1.com → 206.189.83.142.

Launch Growtopia

Open the game. It will connect to FuriGTPS automatically. A login page will appear — register your GrowID and password.

Register & play

Switch to the Register tab, choose a GrowID and password, then tap Create Account. You'll be logged in automatically.

Next time you open the game, it will skip the login and go straight in.

⚠️ Remember to revert your DNS settings when you want to play official Growtopia again.

PC (Windows & Mac)

Edit the hosts file to redirect Growtopia to FuriGTPS

Install Growtopia

Download Growtopia from growtopia1.com or Steam. Make sure it launches at least once on official servers first.

Open the hosts file as Administrator

Windows: Open Notepad as Administrator, then open C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts.

Mac: In Terminal, run sudo nano /etc/hosts.

Add the redirect entries

Add these two lines at the bottom of the file:

206.189.83.142 www.growtopia1.com

206.189.83.142 www.growtopia2.com

Save the file. On Mac, press Ctrl+O then Ctrl+X.

Flush DNS cache

Windows: Open Command Prompt and run ipconfig /flushdns.

Mac: Run sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder.

Launch Growtopia and log in

Open Growtopia. A login page for FuriGTPS will load in the browser panel. Register your GrowID and you're in.

⚠️ To return to official Growtopia, remove or comment out (#) the two lines you added to the hosts file.
💡 On Windows you can also use a tool like Fiddler or GadgetToPlay to switch between servers without editing the hosts file manually.

iOS — Surge 5

DNS override via Surge 5 profile — no jailbreak needed

Install Surge 5

Purchase and install Surge 5 from the App Store. It is a paid app but the most reliable way to redirect DNS on iOS without jailbreak.

Install Growtopia

Download Growtopia from the App Store if you haven't already.

Create a Surge profile with DNS override

In Surge, go to Profile → Edit (or create a new profile). Add the following under the [Host] section:

www.growtopia1.com = 206.189.83.142

www.growtopia2.com = 206.189.83.142

Enable the profile and activate Surge

Select the profile you just edited, then tap the toggle to turn Surge ON. iOS will ask you to allow a VPN configuration — tap Allow.

Trust the FuriGTPS certificate

Open Safari and visit http://furigtps.app/ca.crt. Tap Allow to download the profile, then go to:

Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → FuriGTPS CA → Install

Then go to Settings → General → About → Certificate Trust Settings and enable full trust for FuriGTPS CA.

Launch Growtopia and log in

Open Growtopia with Surge still active. The FuriGTPS login page will appear. Switch to Register, create your account, and tap Create Account.

Future launches will skip the login automatically.

⚠️ Keep Surge active whenever you want to play FuriGTPS. Turn it off to go back to official Growtopia.
